... the Forbidden Journey ride was nearly 4 hours, so we investigated the goods available in the shops (TOTALLY NOT THE MAIN REASON FOR GOING HERE AT ALL). Results: Mixed. We felt surprised and disappointed that most of the goods were the exact same. In fact, Orlando actually had a wider variety of goods, and more goods that were unique to the Orlando park. ... to straight to the Spider-Man ride with purpose. The park at this point had been open one hour and the queue already said it was 90 minutes so we decided to go for it. It ended up only being around an hour queue and the ride was fantastic. Big long day for day two. We started early for Tennoji Zoo. Kids getting the hang of trains and subway system. Zoo was nice, big cats were active and looked "fierce" according to Marina. We then went in to Sakaimachi neighborhood for lunch. Ate traditional okonomiyaki, another Osaka famous delicacy. This is the gangster part of town and we saw some true yakuza come in to eat lunch as well. Pretty cool. After that we took the subway north to Osaka Castle. Beautiful to have such a big ...
