    ... for a beanie with a peak for me. I asked at a North Face store for a beanie with a peak and the sales assistance looked at me with a blank look. I repeated myself and still blank.     Kelly decided at noon she hadn't had enough yet..incredible. So she was on line for the lift and the operator checking passes looked at her tickets and told her she has a morning-only ticket and she has to leave the line...she's 90! She has a pin on her jacket that tells everyone she's 90! She skies for free anyway! Nope. Kicked out. When I heard this story, I have to admit I laughed pretty hard. She was in good spirits ...

    Today I used an app on my phone that uses GPS to track where you skied on the mountain, how far you traveled and what your top speed was. Today we traveled a distance of 31 miles (including chair lift rides) and my speed topped out at 52.7 miles per hour.

    What a glorious day to not be taking the T into work. No offense Boston, but Bethel, Maine knows what's up.
