Day 8: The Long Drive Home
At this point we split with the Lys since we wanted to get an earlier start and they wanted to sleep in. When we said goodbye, they were just starting to get up and eat some breakfast.

... s. We got a few pictures, visited the local sports bar that was a 10 minute walk, which everyone in the hotel thought was ridiculous that we didn't drive round.
Tbh, motor city aside, no one walks anywhere in this country. Fair enough for the long distances, but a 10 minute stroll? Come on. And the country encourages this, for half of the way there was no sidewalk, pedestrians are just not a factor in city planning it seems.
