Our room was extremely nice. HUGE with a great view, nice recliner and all the expected things (LCD TV, microwave, refrigerator). The bed was super comfortable.

This is one of the fancier places we have stayed. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

... from LA earlier that day, for the night. That evening we went to the stratosphere for dinner to celebrate, which has a revolving restaurant so we could see the whole city all lit up. The meal was expensive but it was delicious and afterwards we got to stand out on the viewing platform which was incredibly windy. We watched the people, jump off of the roof (attached to a zip wire) and the people on the roller coaster that hangs off of the side of the tower. British Rob and ...

Well, we woke up without an issue, got ready, and headed down for the included breakfast which was a little disappointing - ah well, it's not all about the food. We finished packing and headed for the airport.

It was great for us to have the "Priority" designation on our tickets but not for all those people that were standing in line as we arrived. Boy did we get the looks as we walked to the "front" of the line next to ...

... another world.

Justin and I walked along the "Trail of Time", which is about a three mile walk alongside the South Rim, every meter walked on the trail signifies another million years of the Grand Canyon's Geological history. There are plenty of signs and labeled rocks that explain the history of the Canyon and how it formed its different layers. It was definitely cool. We walked about half the trail before heading back. One cool thing about the ...
