I came to Greece to see the ruins. I've always been interested in Greek Mythology and I wanted to experience it first hand. This was at one time the center of the civilized world! I guess I expected to find impressive ruins integrated into a beautiful city. All I found was impressive ruins buried in a hole. Lara and I were both disappointed with modern Athens.
