This morning I started on the hop on hop off bus. At circus circus we had to get off the bus and I went on the downtown route. This bus did a tour of the areas I had not been yet including Fremont street which is where the original Las Vegas strip is. I got off the bus at the outlet mall, had a quick walk around then got back on the bus. I caught the bus back to Ballys and got off to find the Nike shop, made some purchases then went to ...
... the Gondolas(they have gondola rides that go through the Casino and outside)after asking for help on how to get out we headed across the road to the new Fashion Mall(a big shopping centre at the top end of the strip). We didn’t end up finding anything that we really wanted so we headed back down the strip on the opposite side of the road checking out the Casinos. We made it to the Excalibur where we jumped on the monorail that connects to the Mandalay to give the feet a rest. ...
... hour flight to the canyon Chiara decided to take a few photos on her phone, but this slight movement made her feel sick and for the rest if the flight there had her head in a white paper bag!! Once at the bottom of the canyon, right along side the Colorado river we sat and had a nice little champagne lunch in the sunshine. We made friends with a couple of cute little chipmunks that thought they would come up and see if they could get some crumbs from ...
... Edinburgh the following day. We accepted a shared room and were told we were to be in the Hampton Inn on Tropicana. After a long hike to the farthest end of the other terminal we found our bags in the baggage office along with those for JB and EM so we were able to ensure they would be on the San Francisco flight.
I should say that the United staff we dealt with were very helpful, although I do wonder what hotel ...
