... obviously an unusual sight to see foreigners walking around, let alone shopping there. I think that is the most gawking I have encountered so far in China, and while it wasn't scary or intimidating in any way, it still felt a little awkward. When I goggled the city, I see it has a population of 558,000 - hardly a village, but its all relative!

... thoughtful and caring but still a 'dude' kind of guy. Nana is really playful, happy go lucky kind of girl. The two of them are like polar opposites, which I guess makes it easy for them to travel together. Hong does all the work and Nana just asks how much! Anyway the two of them came to Lo Wu to pick me up and we went for early morning dim sum - it was 9am, I was well tired! ... afternoon and evening, constant downpour and even lightning and thunder! We bunkered down inside our timbered hostel playing pool and uno.

The next day we got our ponchos on and prepared to get soaked which we most certainly did! We trekked from our village through Zhonglu village to Ping'an which took 4.5 hours. We walked through endless rice terraces observing the farming way of life that the locals live.

... They had modified the auditorium so that there were 12 tables that sat 4 students each. This was the same class that had the child that blasted off his chair to answer my questions. Everyone was very excited for the game. After a quick run through of the vocab words I grouped them into 6 groups of 8. The fun began when 1 student of each group had to run to the smart-board and press the "Spin Wheel" button. A couple of students tried to race each other to the board. ...
