    ... as much as possible. The resort has an international school set up, and that was where we were based. They had quite good outdoor facilities, including an adventure playground and running track, so we decided to make good use of it. We had groups of kids doing 3-legged races, egg and spoon races, and pass-the-balloon-between-your-legs races, then let them loose on the playground - all very happy kids!

    ... stores. Apparently people would go to these book stores and just sit and read all day (I know, it sounds like a library and they had those too but these were actual stores where people go and buy books), I'm sure a few were brought too. We visited a big park and also took pictures of a statue of Deng Xiao Ping. DXP is the man credited with opening up China. I can see life in Shenzhen being pretty chilled, we had a spot of tea, sat outside at a location that wouldn't be too dissimilar ...

    ... just in case you change your mind! These porter ladies also have the longest hair in the world, they only cut it once in their life! It reaches down to their ankles and they wrap it on their head in a huge turban!

    After a lunch of rice baked inside bamboo and eggplant we walked up to the next village Tiantouzhai in the mountain drizzle enjoying the views of terraced hillsides planted with rice.

    ... would get with the game. Not only did they hoot and holler when the opposite team hit 1, they went insane when their team got 10. It got to the point that they would start chanting "ee, ee, ee, ee". At first I wondered what they were saying, until I realized that they wee all chanting (yi) 1,1,1,1 for the opposing teams. LOL Bloodthirsty brats.

    I think the craziest class was 5th grade. The class that had to meet in the auditorium was the one that made me laugh ...
