    ... in a small studio with AC, not that that made much of a difference, and there were 14 women & 1 man, the instructor’s husband. It was a solid hour of fast moving to mostly Brazilian music since most of the ladies are Brazilians (husbands own or manage shoe factories) I’m proud to say I survived, but it wasn’t pretty.     ... were allowed to leave early so 4 of us took a taxi to another part of the city to a spa run by a friend of a friend. We each had a pedicure ($17 for 1 hrs) and a hair wash for an extra $5. We're not talking just an ordinary hair wash, oh no, this is a couple of washes, rinses and head massage then blown dry by a talented guy who turns blow drying into a dramatic art form.     ... so. To our friends in education, we were thinking about the TF conference last week. We have a PD session on Saturday – Tim and I are doing 2 sessions to introduce the Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment Kits which have arrived, but nobody has ever used.
