... after all, no harm was done!

It was a mad scramble from the the tourist shuttle bus to the next bus that would take me to Huixian where I must take a train to Zhengzhou, Capitol of Henan for the night.

The bus, not a large one, has a passenger capacity of 27. Because I started out standing, crammed in, I was able to count 48 in total on the bus. After departing Huixian, we ran into a long line of traffic. Turns out five cars ...

The train ride took ...

... Chinese staff was finally able to find a sneaker store down the road. And I desperately needed new shoes since my sneakers got a hole in the back and the plastic was rubbing the back of my foot. We took a quick taxi ride, which didn't even cost a dollar and I was able to find a nice pair of sneakers for a decent price. Lunch was once again in the cafeteria. It was okay, basically Chinese cafeteria food. In the afternoon it was time to pack everything up and get ready ...

... covered the topic of safety at camp and what to do if an emergency were to arise. So we covered the basics of CPR and chocking as well as played out various scenarios in order to gain an idea of the proper response. Lunch was great! The egg and onion dish which became a staple for us on our trip last summer finally made an appearance and it was delicious. There was also a noodle soup which tastes just like ...
