    It was an unseasonal warm Sunday in late November when my girlfriend and I decided to traveled to the "Electric City." This trip had no major goals just spend time, and deliver a birthday card to my brother who lives up there.     ... You'd think we had discovered Victoria Falls.

    Early in the evening in hazy weather drove 25 miles south on 15 to Tower Rock. It is a large 400 foot tall formation which Lewis climbed on July 16, 1805, to use as a observation post. We missed the 209th anniversary of his climb by 2 days.

    Tomorrow morning drive to Glacier and spend one and a half days in the park.

    ... They are from Sacremento, CA, and were headed to Minnesota. He is now retired but worked on 'the black box for the space shuttle' for 28 years.     ... up the road. If you haven't seen a BMW GS series bike they are really like the swiss-army knife of motorbikes and handle nearly all situations really well.

    Anyway, roadworks eventually finished and we pulled off to the side and the older gentlematn on the bike sidles up to us as well. Usual bike interchange is discussed, comments on bikes, the weather, the dirt we just ate etc.... "Oh - by the way - looks like you guys dropped a tube of zip ties back there ...
