... are good TV stations once again. It is funny how you miss just this small connection with the US. We have phone coverage, good TV and air connection with our computer once again. We are finally home, but still about 1800 miles from home. Have a few pictures to send. Will head into Idaho tomorrow. We have been following the Lewis and Clark trail a lot. Catch you tomorrow. Oh I forgot to tell you that it is now in the 80's.
Great Falls, Montana, United States schroederdTwo years ago when we did a house swap we spent a month fishing the Missouri river , so when we came back into town we stopped at the old house, filled the water tanks , and headed for a small campsite on the river, only known by the locals. We spent two nights here, Brent fished the river with a friend, and Jo knitted socks.
Also our computer died and we feel we are missing our right arm, hence the short entries
... place where I could lay it out to assemble the layers. A little narrower than ideal but it worked, especially for using the spray glue that keeps the layers from shifting.
By noon on Friday it was decided that the weather was not going to improve and that everyone was free to do their own thing until Sunday night. We have been accumulating mail in Calgary and had some other business to do so decided quickly to pack ...
Don finally slowed down enough today that when he tried to watch a movie he fell asleep. We walked a bit after supper and I had to share my Montana sunset with you. There is a small park just outside the fence of the park. Although we are located on a noisy corner where two main roads come together it is shady and handy to downtown.
Great Falls, Montana, United States momadunc... was that this wasn't remote. It was only 35 miles to one town, 45 to another and an hour to Great Falls. She had already made at least one triip to Great Falls that day for parts. The roads into these farms are gravel, as opposed to 'dirt', and if one is familiar with driving on loose gravel (read round stones) the driving is not bad. Unlike in Colorado, many of the farmers still live on the land where they farm.

... the volunteers and they were saying that attendance was down by almost a third from previous years and they blame the economy. Even so, they figure 100,000+ had attended over the two weeks of the fair. Exhibits were also down.
A great way to get to know this community.
... be able to help older sis celebrate. They plan to go to the River House restaurant for dinner. They serve meals to die for! I love their escargot and prime rib.
One of the caravan members stopped by today to put a decal on our rig's windshield identifying us as a member of the Gulfstreamers caravan. We're #18. There are 18 rigs in the caravan.

... But apart from that no dramas. We're nowin a small town called White Sulphur Springs (about hr out of Great Falls) at a small, hugely friendly campsite, with horses grazing in the paddock next to us. Feels like we're on a ranch. Not unlike the feeling we've had for most of the day, as we've driven through the barren, VERY windy wonderland.
Great Falls, Montana, United States foreman... There's that blind faith item again. We have to do some of the work no matter what we ask for. That is why I have so much faith in what Einav told me and sold me. I am getting what I asked for. I didn't ask to look like a 20 year old, but I guess the 6-pack abs are on a 20 year old in the picture in my Vision book. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it. What I did wrong when I asked for all this stuff is that I put dates on them. When you see or read the Secret ...
Great Falls, Montana, United States cobra1899Well we spent the last day or so in Magrath cleaning, tidying and generally making ready for our journey south to the border. Although not packed with tourist attractions the area was very interesting nonetheless. When the railroad arrived it had 1million acres of land at its disposal, which it intended to sell to eager farmsteaders; a plan that fell flat on its face when it became apparent that the ...
