He had a young man with him that really loved animals and was taking care of a number of dogs, cats and anything that walked on 4 legs. He rode his bicycle a lot and I rode my bike a lot. It truly is beautiful and there are a million and 1 things to do. I can even check off my bucket list item of swimming with whale sharks. Who wants to go with me!?

... my head in a new place yet again.

First stop in Houston had to be the Space Centre. We spent the day learning all there is to know about the American space program. The tram ride and tour that took us into Mission Control, the Space Vehicle Mock-up Facility (ie the testing centre for the astronauts) and to the Space Park that housed full size replica models of the shuttles. It was fantastic! ...
