Very odd, and a reminder of how happy I am that I live in a country where I do not have to take ID with me whenever I leave the house and do not even have to give a policeman my name if I've done nothing wrong (and I'm not driving). The road blocks on the way in and out of each town are quite oppressive and also quite useless I would imagine. It certainly appears to do little to prevent the tide of drugs heading north ...

... a few other people time to head into Kingston town center and explore some shops. It was crazy exciting, but we got a lot of great maps and advice from a lady in the information center. She pointed out all sorts of places to shop and eat and we got information about the olympic torch heading down the Thames. I also found a starbucks- that's important.

Quicken 2007 Bites the Dust
... a year end date of them and start labeling with something that makes sense to me, not Quicken! I do manage to open a fairly recent backup and print out my scheduled transaction list so that I have it in case I need to re-enter it.
Hubby is looking on his computer and he finds something new to try. We go to the file and have it validate the quicken that we are using. It says it found 20 errors in the scheduled ...
Day 1- Off to Heathrow

Leaving On A Jet Plane
... and landed here at 9:00am London time – however, in Bangkok it was 3:00pm. I’d lost half a day! Now it’s about 6:15pm here, but my body clock is telling me it’s 12:15pm. This would be bad enough, but it’s compounded by the fact that I feel as if I’ve done 2 consecutive nights at Sonar, because, even though the flight was relatively comfortable, I still only managed about 4 hours sleep.
