Part of our two week itinerary includes a short trip to Rhodes. After a day touring in the Kusadasi area we spent the next day traveling south to Marmaris for the 90 minute ferry ride to Rhodes.

The family knew I dabbled in an instrument or two and when we got back there was instruments everywhere in their house. ...

Had a wonderful afternoon in the big city. Checked into our hotel, near both the port and the old city. Walked through Freedom Gate into the old city and had a delicious lunch at a place Mikhali Melenos had recommended. After lunch, Helen & Shelley went to the ...

... good and I resisted. I also saw a car crash where the two people got out their cars shouted at each other then got back in and drove off. There seem to be no car parks here or parking tickets as zebra crossings, corners, roundabouts and pavements are a free for all. I went into the archaeological centre and me at six euro it was steal. Now I'm not one to have much of an interest in these things but with pottery from 630BC and some amazing historical findings I spent over 2 hours ...
