... seemed to be worthy of multiple photos. So much in fact that the photography students were holding up the group taking so many pics! We are returning to the same area tomorrow so they will have more time then! We then met up for a literary walking tour which had two actors taking us around town sharing information on famous poets and writers. Robert burns and many more. Kids ...

I've had a whirlwind few days meeting up with friends and family to say my goodbyes. Thursday I went into school to visit. A few of my previous class (and some staff!) looked very confused to see me as they'd been told at assembly I was already away! Why didn't I think of this sooner? To maximise the limited space in mum and dad's house for all my lovely stuff I went to Argos to buy some vacuum packing bags, fab invention! Now I have reduced the size of my coats, dressing gowns and many hoodies by about half and they can be safely stored in the loft. I'm not sure what condition they'll be in when I open the bags but that's next year's worry! I had a ...

Today is the first day I've really had to think about what I'm going to take with me to Canada in my massive luggage allowance of ONE suitcase (I'm too cheap to pay for another!). At mum and dad's I have 7 suitcases of 'stuff' I brought from my house alongside an abundance of 'bags for life' ...
