... it's 823 feet above sea level. Though it doesn't sound that bad, the climb certainly gets one's, heart rate elevated! The view from up there was great, but would have been amazing if the weather were better. In the evening, I met Mr Bond and Mr Reany for dinner at The Tollbooth Tavern for some good local ...

They kindly gave me a lift ...

We both had a nice relaxing time......I think I slept for the majority of it after waking up this morning from a Visa (work permit) related nightmare where I found out that, in fact, I hadn't applied for it at all! I've sent the Canadian High Commission the same email as yesterday, marked as 'URGENT' this time and ...

Why didn't I think of this sooner? To maximise the limited space in mum and dad's house for all my lovely stuff I went to Argos to buy some vacuum packing bags, fab invention! Now I have reduced the size of my coats, dressing gowns and many hoodies by about half and they can be safely stored in the loft. I'm not sure what condition they'll be in when I open the bags but that's next year's worry! I had a ...
