... to your table. Pretty simple. We decided to share our dishes again. Gigi and I got a drink, she got vodka and club soda and I wanted to try something local. I noticed a gin made in Edinburgh, he said it wasn't his favorite but I should try. The ones made in the highlands. He gave it to me in a tall glass with ice, lime and lemonade ( sprite over here). It was incredible. Very refreshing, however the best was yet to come....the food! We die died to share everything we ordered, ...

They kindly gave me a lift ...

We both had a nice relaxing time......I think I slept for the majority of it after waking up this morning from a Visa (work permit) related nightmare where I found out that, in fact, I hadn't applied for it at all! I've sent the Canadian High Commission the same email as yesterday, marked as 'URGENT' this time and ...

    Vacuum packing - genius!

Why didn't I think of this sooner? To maximise the limited space in mum and dad's house for all my lovely stuff I went to Argos to buy some vacuum packing bags, fab invention! Now I have reduced the size of my coats, dressing gowns and many hoodies by about half and they can be safely stored in the loft. I'm not sure what condition they'll be in when I open the bags but that's next year's worry! I had a ...
