We've also treated ourselves in terms of food this eve. I devoured a McDonald's Big tasty Meal in record time and Chaz has been munching his way through a rather dodgy looking local pizza, all washed down with local beer. What a way to reflect on what a have been a remarkable trip.

... on the grape-vine that we have hit town and we got a call this morning from friends Olav and Ellen, who invited us out to their farm for dinner in their little cottage....... You should see this place...just magnificent! A beautiful gracious home on a huge farm and all just like the travel brochures. They are delightful people... a lot of fun and a pleasure to be with, and we were served a special treat of baked vegetables with moose and elk meat. ...

... dinner, our friends Sverre and Lilletull, Treas' childhood friend, who are also K&H's neighbours, came over , and we had a nice night, although unfortunately Sverre has hurt his back, and is hobbling around like a geriatric, and poor Lille has not been well for a while, but it was great to see them.
