We've also treated ourselves in terms of food this eve. I devoured a McDonald's Big tasty Meal in record time and Chaz has been munching his way through a rather dodgy looking local pizza, all washed down with local beer. What a way to reflect on what a have been a remarkable trip.

... wood-duck.... Tonight, we had yet another dinner-party, with Heidi, Tore, and the kids and Kari had prepared a superb fish-pie of some sort, (in the course of conversation she said it had 1.2kg of fish in it), and then tomorrow I am off with Per somewhere..... Still no wifi, and I am all out of credit on my sim-card, so this will have to wait. That's all folks - sorry -a bit boring today....but at least I relaxed.... ...

... Gamle Aker Kirk, and were surprised at the warm and decorative interior of the Cathedral,












admired the brand new Opera House with it’s multi-faceted tiled roof and had, what is probably our most expensive, beer and sandwich ever in the restaurant there – but it was delicious and served with a wonderful view of Monica ...

... cold and ice. That just doesn't sound appealing at all.

  • Norwegians are nice, but... not as nice as Americans. For example, when passing somebody random on the street, they will not make eye contact, much less say hello. Of course you get the rare exception, but for the most part, American just seem more friendly toward strangers.
  • Sweden and Norway are pretty much the same! Naturally, if you're a citizen of either ...
