    Today we finished our journey across South Dakota. We woke up to overcast skies, and before breakfast was over, the rain came...and I mean heavy rain, wind and thunder.     Today we went to a part of the state called St Pauls. It seems more livelier than Minneapolis and has a large Hmong community. The Hmong are orginally from Laos and helped the Americans duringut the Vietnam War. However after the Americans pulled out of the war (dont go there... it's still a touchy subject!) the Hmongs, were persecuted by the Cambodians and the Vietnamese as they helped. So thousands of refugees left Laos ...
