... Arriving at our resort - absolutely breath taking! Have posted a view of our hotel, it's stunning! Truly 5 star! Will take a few better pics tomorrow when hopefully it's not so cloudy. We went for a swim lucky it had stopped raining by this point, and then we ordered some room service for dinner cause the restaurants at the hotel are far too expensive! I had a yummy chicken quesadilla - was just a tad too spicy for my liking though. When we had ...

So here we are in our last week of holidays and we find ourselves laid out on the sand in Fiji. The hostel owns the island so there is nothing else here. Nothing to do but sun bake, swim, snorkel, eat, sleep and play scrabble with the big guy. A little apprehensive about the water, I didn't want to pay for my own snorkel equipment right away so managed to get a quick plunge using Ross' .. I am hooked! Never in my life did I expect to love snorkelling! It's like going into your own little world, when your head goes under there is no noise but the sound of your ...

... food - a night I'll not forget in a while. That night there was a quiz so we split into 2 teams and joined the other guests for that - pleased to report that our team won!! The prize was champagne, Fijian hats made of leaves and a luxury breakfast served the next morning on the beach. It was the start of a whole host of drinking games and I think I made it to bed just before sunrise. I even saw my first shooting star EVER - I have always wanted to see one but never have, ...
