    ... frescos are impressive but this time I was able to find the Viking rune writing ( Graffiti) on the railing from many hundreds of years ago. I had looked for it on previous visits but not found it. However it only says "Havan" (was here). We also had fun turning our thumbs in the magic pillar and then making a wish which is coming true of course. Topkapi palace is big but we covered nearly all of it.     ... sun with cool ocean breezes gently blowing over us. Finally, it was time to go back. Max was very interested in watching the captain steer the boat so the captain picked him up and put him at the wheel. Max "drove" the boat until just before we got to shore. He was so proud. Angie posted some pictures on Facebook of our day. It was a perfect day enjoying the beauty of this amazing place. I feel so grateful and so full (and literally full!).

    ... When he removed three to serve, the other two overbalanced, hit the floor with the sizzling stew flying out on the floor and across both of my legs!
