... 16 pounds, At one point the guide turns out the lights and you find out what TOTAL DARK is, Its unreal just how dark that is. The are a few formations along the way and the walk back up is a little tough but we made it.(all the walks up and down around Yonah Mt, Campground helped). Would recomend doing this adventure ...

After we left The Preserve we decided it was too pretty a day, so we decided to slip back over to Cades Cove to search for the elusive bear. Once we started the loop there were a lot of deer out and about. About 10 minutes in Lori hollars "there's a bear, there's a bear". ... and sherry in the back seat didnt handle the curvy mountain road so good. Thought we would never get to flat ground. Finally got to a little smoother ride on NC 129 then had to come down the mountain again from Blairsville. nobody likes the GPS anymore.............

We arrived at Karen's aunt Suzanne's place around mid- afternoon, perfect timing for a hay ride and pumpkin pick expedition.
