... crowds soon started flocking in with a massive line down the road for people waiting to buy a beer. We were thankful to have secured a table as we soon heard that the scheduled take off time of 11 had been postponed to 2 because of inclement weather and the congestion on the roads. We'd heard on the radio on the way that the roads were absolutely choked and barely moving. We were really glad to have decided on Selsey rather than going to the event location.
... seen so many burning piles of trash as I saw in Nairobi. It seemed like trash piles could spontaneously burst into flames just about anywhere. In people's yards, at the markets, on the side of the road, it didn't matter. A little more consistency with how well you kept yourself up (utility services) would have been appreciated as well. It seemed at times that the water service would never come back to the volunteer apartment or that electricity was a thing ...
European Adventure 2012
Today was simply to be a short 120mile journey or so from my brothers house
near Stevenage North of London to Brighton down on the South Coast. However,
this short little journey had one major hold-up on it and that was the notorious
M25 motorway, commonly known as the "worlds longest car park"!

Frustrations? Well politeness aside it is very “bloody” difficult to set up in a new country starting from scratch! We paid for the internet, T.V., and phone to be set up at the house but have yet to get a license for it. (In the States I believe the FCC does it through your provider but here you have to pay separately) It sounds easy except we haven’t received enough proof ...
