Our next stop was to experience the location of the portage at Great Falls which presented Lewis and Clark with one of the most challenging ordeals of their expedition. ... and it was a wonderful stay. We had to chop our own wood and warm the place with the wood fueled oven. We were also able to have a campfire in the Teepee and Rita left us all the fixings for smores. The whole night cost us $30 and that included a full breakfast with French Toast and Sausages in the morning.
Today is the day we are leaving Boise. I hear the alarm and it is just one of many interruptions I have had through the past night.
