And again the overwhelming beauty of the sculpted sandstone rock in the one park and the enormous canyons that seemed to go on forever in the other. Both the result primarily of water. And, of course, the human stories going back hundreds and sometimes thousands of years are so wondrous and captivating.

We headed north in Montana to Choteau, stopping at a Walmart for supplies and putting gas in both vehicles on the way. We found a quaint campground in Choteau that used to be a KOA but is now privately owned. Boy was it WINDY and cold when we emerged from our motorhome! WE arrived in Fort Benton, MT on Monday and set up for a stay until the morning of July 4th when we need to move. We will wash the MH, do laundry and rest a little. We have went to all the local landmarks and had a nice time. I rode the bike 15 miles to day and plan on riding tomorrow with Jan. I'll let you know how that turns out. See ya'll ...
