Not The Top Of The World
... glow from the lights of nearby chalets we notice that the steady rain has started to float gently to the ground....SNOW...we sit there for quite some time .....just watching the wonderful scene as the snow settles on the buildings and the ground...in the morning there is 3-4 inches coating everything in the valley ....all the way to the village of Zell Am See....we had been walking down the mountain to wander around the village.....sit by the lake....visit ...

Later, as we were driving back into Germany, we got pulled over by the federal German Polizai. Worried that we had broken a law, missed a signal or speeding, we pulled over quickly. Turns out they just wanted to check our papers on the car. That was interesting... I made for a good story, but my stomach sure sank!

Sunday- Monday
... had given myself plenty of time and arrived at
Munich for my flight to Amsterdam with plenty of time to spare. Oh yeah, whilst
waiting in Piding I thought I'd go and use the toilet in Burger King, so I walk in
there and there's a turnstile to get to the toilets which I have to pay €0.50 to enter.

Saturday afternoon update
... but no stock on it. I've since found out that the stock are up in the high paddocks during summer and they gradually bring them down a bit at a time as the winter sets in. Eventually on September 17 & 18 they have the "Festival of bringing the Cattle Down" where they dress in traditional costume and dress their cows up and have a big parade down the main street.
