... to see our time here come to an end ....packed up and gone by 9 we travelled up along the shore to the gulf. We found an apt. In a little fishing village called Port St. Joe thru VRBO.Its ever so nice with some beautiful Cape type homes ...many of them on stilts depending if there is an island out in front protecting it....Our place is above a wine/cigar shop. Off again and now joined our friends Christine and Austin at their good friends home in Remington Shores. A lovely home with a backyard plunge pool and dock for the boat. We did our share of drinking , eating and soaking/swimming in the heated pool. Also walking the beautiful long beaches on the Gulf Coast.

we went into Port St Joe after for late lunch and found Pepper's, a very authentic Mexican restaurant.
Port St Joe seems just a tad weird - seemingly not much there but we'll established pretty big CVS pharmacy, Piggly Wiggly, MacDonalds etc- we concluded it must be a major boat slip for high end recreational fishing folks.
