... U.S. (via Narita, Japan) is 14 hours, but from Hong Kong it only took us 4 hours, 20 minutes. Last night, we had dinner in Palau at a waterside restaurant called Kramer's. It was a charming place with really good food, and the waitress was very friendly -- turns out her uncle is the Ambassador of Palau in the U.S. The food was excellent -- I had a grilled tuna steak with garlic-butter sauce, and Lucas had a salad topped with grilled wahoo fish. ... pretty neat.. we stayed at about 60 feet for almost an hour and swam through several caverns. The Visibility was pretty nice, maybe 60-70 feet and we saw several anemones and a real neat lionfish. I partnered up with an old Navy guy (late 60s) your never too old... who had also gone on the boat without a partner.
