Once we got our boarding pass, we stood in line again for Jeff and Joyce who were still at the counter 100 metres away paying for their upgrade. After several more minutes, we could see them making their way down towards us so we beckoned them over ...

As for all the other turtles, they get released into the ocean. Later, we ...

We'll we just finished our time in Sri Lanka....after two plus weeks, I'm not ready to leave as there is still so much more to see and do! What comes to my mind in describing this place is one of my favorite Super-bowl treats....the Seven-layer dip...and no, Sri Lanka has nothing in common with this delicious Tex-Mex cuisine. It's how different one part of ...

... turtles to the sea as they were quite stupid and tried to waddle up the beach instead of to the sea.
From Mount Lavinia we travelled down the south coast to Hikkaduwa to go surfing! The waves were really scary big and I found it a bit tricky really, Alix had a lesson and did really well but we both got a bit frustrated by the rediculous waves that it was difficult just to go for a little swim or stand in the water! Whilst here we hired bikes ...
