    ... the hill and parked outside of the hotel. Then we walked in and the guard at the gate didn't bat an eyelid. We found the pool area which had loads of sun loungers around in the gardens so we sat down at two and relaxed. After a while we went in the pool which was sooo nice in the heat. It also overlooked the beach which looked really good, but we'd had enough of sand! We spent a couple of hours cooling off and chilling and all for free! Then we went back up the hill again and drove up ...

    ... time to order that banana shake! And get half a charge in my computer! The candles and lanterns appeared, the family that runs this place is prepared. They are used to working with no lights or power. I notice the mom in the kitchen cooking up some delights in her gas powered wok with a head lamp on her head. Resourceful. I had an excellent Penang curry by candlelight. The music and party seemed to have taken a break today from what I hear. Let's see what a days rest and Tommorow will ...

    ... and Jen all left the next morning. Eli had been pretty ill the last couple of days and Nadine was just starting to feel better. Not sure what it was but that day I was feeling pretty bad as well, most unpleasant. That week most of us were feeling a bit off at some point.
