    ... takes inspiration from middle east design, it was really beautiful. We only had breakfast, which was a buffet, but overall the food wasn't up to par with the price and level the hotel was portraying (and charging).

    For 100,000 they took us to the harbor in the morning to catch our ferry over to Sabang. Our room wasn't ready (the previous tenants forgot to return their key) when we arrived at Freddie's but we had a place to change into our bathing suits ...

    ... a head scarf; the men have no such rule. A pair of scanty trunks is all most of them sport. It's hard to understand how this can be explained to young children as they approach the age when the girls must adopt the rules.     ... Maybe we're going round in a circle? We soldier on, and after about another 2km, the same thing. We spot a becak coming our way (a becak is essentially a small motorbike with a sidecar with seating for 2 side by side). The driver stops for us, and agrees to take us there.
