The first day we wake and it's not a clear day. Overcast and a bit muggy. Not like Brisbane muggy, just not the norm here. We slam down breakfast and head off for a walk to find the place we are changing over to today, Baja's Cactus Hostel. Looks pretty average from the outside but it's our first real hostel experience, so no real issues. We head back, pack our bags and walk on down to the hostel and check in. ... it was fantastic... hurt like hell on my back and shoulders. It was nice hearing the sea and super relaxing. Went back to the room after and had a jacuzzi then got changed. Everyone drifted in over the next hour or so while we had a few drinks. ... so cool to see them swimming in and out of the water around our boat. Our tour was to different parts of the Island, and around every corner the natural beauty was just so impressive. ... sailed past Divorce Beach… Divorce Beach is the place where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean and it can look absolutely calm and beautiful to swim in… and despite the HUGE warning signs EVERYWHERE for people to NOT swim.. people get in… and an undertow will take them away or huge waves will come crashing-in with no notice whatsoever… and people drown there… pretty much every month. Interesting choice of names for beaches, huh?
