    ... to operate the washing machines, driers & to buy soap powder. I remember I have some US dollars in the cabin, so I rush back there, collect $10 and go back to the laundry - 5 minutes flat.     ... Surprisingly, there were a few in the neighborhood. After a bit of souvenir gathering, we settled on a place and enjoyed plates of lasagna and tagliatelle with mushroom cream sauce. It was a fitting setting for our last supper in Venice. (Without correction, we are set for eight last suppers in Milan. More on that later.)

    ... an issue with the boys and later on l saw Marco talking with a man from the Con. They were looking up at the third floor and then it hit me - boys will be boys anywhere in the world and windows will be broken, even windows in extremely old historical buildings.

    That evening Tim and I attended a performance by a string ensemble. They mainly played Vivaldi and it was breath taking. Vivaldi in Venice - what more could one ask for.

    ... re currently making our way into Italy and will be in Venice by this afternoon. We didn't update yesterday because of the lack of wifi, but will find a spot today.
