... Back at the apartment we had some after-dinner drinks - the local tipple 'Spritz' for me, and some Italian beer for Bernard. We later headed out to find some nightlife and have a drink or two, but there wasn't anything really lively going on, even closer to St Mark's and the Rialto Bridge, so we settled for a gelati while wandering back to the ...

We will begin just inside the Artic Circle line (67 degrees north) north of the Capital-- Nuuk, at a fjordlike town of Kangerlussuaq. Upon arrival by charter, we will take a musk oxen overland trip to the IceCap. From there we sail into the heart of Baffin Bay ...

We arrived in Venice early this morning. We were sailing up the grand canal from 7am so of course we were all up on deck to watch. It took two hours to finally dock and it is a small parking spot so we were all very impressed with the captains driving ability. The first sighting of Venice was amazing...lots of domes, towers....some on a lean....very old buildings and water, water everywhere. Off the ship as quickly as possible we walked to the train station then found ...
