There are plenty of the usual shopping areas but parks, green spaces and riverside quays abound. We decided to take the boat trip (approx 70 mins) which takes you round the old city, up to the area of the European Parliament and Court of Human Rights (how we love them ...

This was very enjoyable to experience a German family and how they live. We left about 9 pm for the boat.
