... all over the rocks. I climbed a rock that almost went over the walls of the prison. That was so fun.

The next day was New Years Eve. We just waited till 1:00pm to have a late lunch/dinner at a restaurant.

Now it is 2015, yay.

We skyped family and then we went to a place called Dinan.
It was all closed because of New Years so we walked around the old buildings and city walls. ...

We drove to Plergeur. It took 4 hours. It is a good place.

There was a little swing set but it got destroyed, a dead bird and a badminton game.

We went to Mont St Michel.

It is a church and a lot of houses on a rock.

We went inside the church and got an English tour.

It took around about an hour. But in my case ...

St Malo was a cool town surrounded by the old city walls.
We walked the 1.8km along the top of them taking loads of photos of the beautiful view.

The kids just had to climb over the rocks to get to the exposed island at low tide.
Riley and Jordan ran off to climb and the 6 yr old little girl followed, climbing all the slippery and big rocks.

Well it was a shame to have to leave our lovely campsite at Pontorson but we needed to hit the road. We headed about 45 mins west to the ancient walled city of St Malo where we were going to stay on an 'aire'. Aires are places where motorhomes are allowed to stop over for a night at very little cost (sometimes free) and can range from a supermarket car park to a basic campsite. I had yet to win Paul over on the merits ...

The Beautiful Brittany and its wonderful Hosts

We have a lovely breakfast the following morning after Fred purchases croissants from the local bakery and we pack up and head off for more sight seeing in St Malo and the beautiful township that is surrounded by a lovely ornate wall. Whilst I have to don my plastic Poncho because of some drizzle the esthetic quality of this beautiful coastal township is not marred AT ALL.

We walk for quite some time marveling at the narrow cobble stoned lane ways ...
