It was raining today and really cold so we took in the local museum full of Roman antiquities found in recent local excavations, it was small but still astounding that it was over 2000 years ago and they were so civilised. ... views and very Italian. The mozzarella was one of the best things I've ever had. The milk from the buffalo is richer at this farm compared to most because they pamper their buffalo with mozart, baths, and massages. A happy buffalo makes for better milk. I also got some gelato which was equally as amazing. ...

... pop of a gun, one last faint call, and then all was silent.  I wonder if the bear was trying to raid the bee hives again and the owner was scaring it off.  Maybe this time the electric fence around the hives worked and made the bear call out that first time.  Actually, on Wednesday night the bear had gone back to L'Ape e L'Orso and destroyed all the remaining hives.  The owner, while being reimbursed for the damage by the park service, was going ...
