... and Langres slowly came alive, albeit to a cold and bleak day. The campsite manager told us this cool change would affect all of France and last all week. A quick trip to the local supermarket, and we headed off to our next stopover,..Metz. We have previously visited Metz in 2006,. albeit very briefly. Our travels back then saw us arrive at the Municipal campsite on the 30th September, the last day of their summer season. We stayed the night and were the ...

... roads that make it difficult to navigate around. Even still, I really really liked Metz. It had close narrow buildings. There were so many people out walking around and eating at cafes. There were plenty of shops, cafes, stores, and restaurants. The Cathedral of Saint Stephen was in the middle of everything. It was amazingly beautiful. It was a really tall and open cathedral that had rows of stain glass around the top. They were ...

... for quite the scene as our bus unloaded.

We stumbled upon the Metz Cathedral first and we decided to spend some time inside. The stained glass and the high ceilings were breathtaking. Even without having any information on the Cathedral I was in awe. The perfect breakfast to start our day of doing a little homework. Even though we don't have class for a week, we still decided to do a little work. It's probably a good thing because it's currently raining and if I was sitting in my room all alone today, I would probably take a nap and be sad instead of doing anything productive whatsoever. I ...

... vegetarian crepe and it was delicious. We had a lot of time to waste before leaving for Germany.

We didn't meet up to leave until 10:30pm and naturally didn't leave Nancy until about 11:30pm. The buses weren't even there until like 11pm. What is that bull? Either way, I got a seat to myself so I could relax and at least try to sleep. We made a bunch of pointless stops on the way there. I don't even know how long it actually took. But we went to GERMANY!
