... the hill. Unfortunately visibility even worse today so after the effort of making our way up the hill we could not even see the water. Great villa's though.
Fast boat back, ferry home and we enter our warm apartment at approx 7pm, in time to cook dinner.
Como, well it is not what we expected, much more suburban. However, glad we came to experience and see how those with lots of money actually holiday.

We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. It's truly a must-visit city and I'd love to go back and see it in broad daylight. ...

... back home then got ready for happy hour. Happy hour consisted of drinking prosecco and eating olive bread sticks. For dinner we had Brätwurst with a potato rösti. After each main course, salad is then served. This is a huge event. The salad is prepared beforehand with the vinaigrette on the bottom so the salad is tossed at the table before eating. For dessert we had panettone and chocolate. We are in Lugano for a few days before travelling to the next ...

... I continued towards Lago Di Como and soon saw the first glimpses of the water. I took the first exit and headed down to the shore. There were quite a few people around, but I found a place to park the bike and go for a walk.

After a half an hour stop I headed South along the shore passing through small lakeside villages and looking for a good stop to have ...
