    ... no customs officials or police officers or anything, apart from a couple of guys with machine guns randomly searching bags.
    We walked straight down and past the long line of people waiting to cross into the US, then went to the cab rank and got a cab to the main tourist area, Avenida Revolucion.

    ... of the unrest...we were introduced to Ray a white American who had a shop ans was a safe haven for us. He went thru the rules stay on this street, eat at Caesars or another 3 he suggested. The exchange is 1 American dollar is 14.5 Paso's.. What if u use debit or credit cards. Don't buy gold or silver as it is all imitation. All the shops are doing it tough because of lack of tourists so they are selling fake gold/silver. If u are not interested just say no thanks ...

    ... stunning the new World Trade Center touches the skyline. It wasn't hard to kill those 5 hours in between flights. I find wandering through the cosmetics area of duty free and sampling everything is a nice way to refresh your make up and of course purchase. Believe it or not, you do save at least 10% on items you would purchase in department stores. They are also a bit cheaper than the stores.

    Friday the 22nd November, it's raining in Southern California, for one of the few days this year according to all the locals I meet.
