    ... of the unrest...we were introduced to Ray a white American who had a shop ans was a safe haven for us. He went thru the rules stay on this street, eat at Caesars or another 3 he suggested. The exchange is 1 American dollar is 14.5 Paso's.. What if u use debit or credit cards. Don't buy gold or silver as it is all imitation. All the shops are doing it tough because of lack of tourists so they are selling fake gold/silver. If u are not interested just say no thanks ...

    ... So we trotted off with our tail between our legs back home and out of the big USA having had an unforgettable month!

    So after a 10 hour flight and an uneventful 36 hours in Heathrow we boarded the flight to Thailand which is where we write from now. We are heading up to Chiangmai in a few days but for now ......"Bangkok has us!" (Love the hangover 2)!!

    ... saying it was like water to me so continued to provide more. Never one to turn down a drink, then got absolutely hammered, although I still felt coherant and in control of where I was and what I was doing.

    Unfortunately, I hadn't accounted for Mexican Speed bumps (I could write a whole blog on how much these are doing my nut in... Im sure they will be mentioned frequently later on though)

    So the taxi ride was about 35 minutes, when all the nights ...

    ... was in the centre of the city so we got to see the buildings there. It is very modern with lots of large banks and offices. There is also a large military presence, Naval ships in the harbour and aircraft carriers. At the start of the Sea World shows and the baseball game they asked everyone from the Services to stand whilst the audience clapped to thank them for their service to the country.
