    ... my quota for the day, I practiced restraint. Haven't done that for some time. I think that breakfast will be good in the morning if with glowing reports on TripAdvisor are correct.

    We are now back in the room. Annette is cleaning up her mess from this afternoon. Her pannier bags were emptied on our arrival and cover half the floor of the room. I am just about to finish the blog, ignore and mess and go to sleep.

    ... and that it had to be tall enough so that a person riding a horse could easily pass under it. I suppose that the areas between the walkways in those days were possibly open sewers. Anyway it makes getting around the city easy, and I have enjoyed their shelter during a couple of heavy thunderstorms.
    The other main attraction is two brick towers, built in the 1300's. The tallest one is 100mtr high and has another one of those 500 step internal staircases to climb up ...

    ... the pouring rain. It is a big campsite
    with lots of wooden cabins. It is built on the side of a hill so it is a steep
    uphill trek to the showers. We are back in the hills with more walking on the
    agenda. It has brightened up a little so hopefully it should be nice tomorrow.

    ... at about 800 metres altitude and has beautiful views over the hills and mountains. The toilets are the most luxurious so far. Not only are they well decorated, have music playing, loo roll and are spotless but they have toilet seats that rise automatically once you have finished and are then sprayed with an antibacterial spray. Oh how small my world has become when the main excitement is the state of the toilets on the campsite.
