... the hills, looking for the botanic gardens, but couldn't find them. We returned to the ship for lunch - as there wasn't anything open in town - then in the afternoon we wandered the flat areas of town. We eventually found a couple of cafes that had opened up and had some great coffee and pastries - as well as a large range of ...

So, we have not had any wifi access since leaving Amalfi on Thursday! I'm typing this on a tiny Samsung, so please forgive any typing or formatting errors. We left the wonderful Settebello Hotel and the family that run it at 10am on Thursday to set off for Sicily. Again it was humorous to watch the idea of tea with milk being understood. That was our brekkie! Amazing. However after last nights meal we were so full anyway. We planned to head to the mountains in front of our accommodation after a walk around town to find Aunty Lisa's house. We followed our google map up very narrow, steep streets ...

... ready for a late night as the game started at 12. I slept and Don stayed up till 3am. He was reluctant to get moving in the morning. After a brekkie of fruit, chocolate croissant and cake we were on the road. To get out of Isola was a logistically nightmare! The GP s was correct but that road was cut off due to construction so we did 35 min circuit of town till we finally found our way. Our backs were sore as the beds in southern Italy tend to be very hard so we weren't in the ...
