    ... home we said we would stop there. Well Silvana was so excited she was telling Michael to over take cars as she wanted to get there quickly! When ever she saw a break in the traffic she was egging him on! Haha the Scoglio does have the best gelatos I have ever tasted, and everyone agrees.

    ... to pick us up this morning and take us and our luggage to the next stop 1.5 hours drive away! For no charge! Very kind! The driver dropped us off where our starting point was and then he took the luggage to our accommodation. After an email from a friend suggesting we use GPS and me replying "don't be silly that would take the fun out of the walk" I actually did that on wifi before I left and when we were exhausted at end of walk ...

    ... the luggage from the station and we continue the walk. Slight problem another wrong phone number on our sheet and incorrect address for hotel...pleased to find this out now not end of walk tomorrow. The other day we kept calling this poor guy who spoke no English insisting he pick us up from the station as stated on our sheet...finally it was understood wrong number! It was too too hot for many ...

    ... into a very long cut, but of course! It was the most beautiful walk through varying landscape but always pretty villages and olive groves with the sea in the distance beckoning. A few times we were a bit confused as we were going up not down and would think oh no here we go again but thankfully not the case today. It was a really beautiful hike down the mountain....to be recommended. To be expected we have suggestions ...

    ... the road later on in the day, and not under foot in the countryside. Suffice to say we ended up climbing a mountain which we then had to climb up and down and round and back ...but Gilles was happy as we saw the museum Francis Copella is making in this town. Finally got directions from the local priest who took awhile to tell us, spoke English but very bad stammer....only tried a few times to offer the correct word, ...
