Clean and tidy with a very friendly (though sometimes unattended) front desk. Location is amazing though, and right opposite the beach.

So since the last post we made the drive from Ile de Re to Biscarosse. Nothing much to report on the drive just that due to the French heading south as well the roads were quite busy in places. We arrived at one campsite and Jim went off in a golf buggy to check out the available pitches, they were a no go so we went to the next campsite down the road. Its been a lovely day and at the moment Kerry is chief chef and has made rissoles without flour, as we have none and has just had to make do with whats in the cupboard. He has done a fine job. I feel like this trip got started on the right foot while I was driving up Bank St after dropping of Fannie at the dog boarder and heading downtown to pick up Caroline when I found myself stopped at a red light right in front of Meat In The Middle. I'd heard a lot of good things about this sandwich shop so I pulled over and popped in for one of their smoked meat sandwiches and some coleslaw. Was not disappointed.
... fighting sleep the whole way. Excellent bus service from the airport to the middle of the city, which has been declared the most beautiful city in France. I suspect there are other places which would claim that title, but Bordeaux is very impressive. ... my ankle, wrist and derriare before I could get in the van. As a result the next day was declared a washing day. It needed doing because my keks were chasing my socks around the van and threatening them.
As a result I have lovely clean clothes but didn't get another paddle. There will be other opportunities I'm sure.
