    ... We do not disagree. Unfortunately for us they were engaged in restorative work on the exterior front. The inside was pristine. The church is rich with paintings and frescoes. In fact Mike (aka Michelangelo) reviewed the ceiling and wall art before painting the Sistine Chapel. Bird is also especially impressed with the alternating black and white stone work. Rather surprising they could build such a structure in a fairly out of the way place during the middle ...

    ... sampling many olive 2015 Nuovo Di Olio from proud producers.
    Lots of locale vino, bruschetta, Pomodoros, and other gorgeous produce was also seasonal and ripe.
    We would have bought 1litre of each producers oil, if we could, they were just so good...... But we had to pick just one, as I was advised by the luggage "police" (aka Noel). So our favourite vineyard , Madrevita got the vote ...... Funny that, they too have a Labrador , a gorgeous ...

    The city of BagnoRegio was founded the Etruscans more than 2,500 years ago. It was quite a big city and important on trade routes. The city was built on what's known as friable volcanic TUFF.     He bought this winery and land in 1971 on a holiday to Umbria, designed he golf course himself and apparently loved spending time here. His only child Patrizia Lamborghini , has run and managed the golf course and winery for many years after Enzo Lamborghini died . Unfortunately, it probably hasn't been a great passion for her, and hasn't been maintained or maximised as well as could have been.

    ... restaurant and Pranza / lunch was served to Fabio and I . Mama Mia Madonna was fantastico. We watched with amazement how a whole restaurant was also fed at the same time, marvelling at this little dynamo Nonna Anna.
    We waddled out of the restaurant with a huge " doggie- bag" ( don't know what that is in Italiano) .....enough for several more meals
