... we played. It was surreal. May not have been our finest moment. Our hosts Nicholas and Sarah were such gems, making us burritos for dinner, plying booze, and ...and putting us up for the night in their tiny flat-all 9 of us. I chose to sleep in the van, on the mattress, which was comfy and quiet (no snoring). Unfortunately seems slightest movement, like nudging the window with ...

Angelique rung to say she fell off her bike into a ditch and her bike landed on her. She was covered in slime. Henk had to jump in and rescue her !!! Not nice but funny ...
... Tired and emotionally spent for awhile. Nice talking to Tante Hennie. She seems to understand and it's nice not to be alone. James goes to Oslo today. So hard not being able to communicate with my family. Delicious meal, beautifully presented again. Watched a programme on finding lost great works of art in the UK. Freezing cold. Socks to bed ...
