... young age of 84, is, well... bloody loaded! When he picked us up, we were greeted by his personal driver. On the drive to Leeuwarden we stopped along the dijks to have a look, also at macdonalds because he likes their milkshakes. First time I've had something from there in 5yrs, but I wasn't about to say no and start an ethical debate with an 84yr old multi millionaire... I got vanilla. We arrived at their home in the centre of Leeuwarden, and their daughter, Juliet, was there to ...

Ok, so, if you read my last blog you will know that I've had some teething problems with the electrics. Well, as alway things get better before they get worse! Yesterday morning the bed for stuck and the middle section was sagging. They have also started to build another tall ship there. Then the rain started to come down so off home we went. A great day ...

... of West an Zee. The objective was to get a view of the North Sea. It sprinkled a little on the way but not enough to discourage us. Some of the paths were paved but others were just gravel. Everyone bikes in Holland. This seems to be the case regardless of age, size or even disability and here was no exception. We biked for a little less than an hour and we were greeted to a huge expanse of nice, soft sandy beach and the North Sea, but no wind...Only a few ...

... was some kind of fair going on that night because there were vendors along the cobbled streets selling all kinds of stuff. I got excited about seeing a sausage stand selling currywurst. When the vendor asked me if I had tasted currywurst before, I told him I had, in Munich. He told me that I was getting the true currywurst from Berlin and it was very good. I only wished I had ordered the fries with it but I was trying to be ...
