... with a casino and duty free shops. We got there early so we got a great table on the sundeck and enjoyed leaving the harbour to the sounds of Crowded House!! Very popular here in Italy. The ferry ride was gorgeous and the sunset was stunning as we left Italy. We slept the night and arrived in Croatia as the sun came up in the morning. It was a wonderful ferry ride , very beautiful and as flat as a pond and really warm. Bye for now - Grace

Had Wild Boar for dinner last night at Ristorante Mario, village Chianti and tiramasu.

Today was spent sightseeing, found the track and sorted out where we would park as traffic will be insane, especially this year with Rossi leading the points. It's a sea of Yellow at the front gate with all the vendors

Early starts for us this weekend but excited to see the track and experience Motogp Italian style.

The caves were incredible, and the initial cave was huge, much bigger than any other cave we've been in. The stalactites and stalagmites were huge and some pure white. They'd ...

... and some garlic buttery sauce. It was the most amazing pasta I've ever had! We'd just asked the waiter for a bottle of wine he thought would go well with the pasta, and it certainly complimented it perfectly. However, after ordering we were poured a glass of sparkling wine and provided with an aperitif and some delicious bread all without ordering. It occurred to us we were in a very fancy restaurant and the meal and wine could be quite expensive. We googled the bottle of wine and ...

This jaunt to Italy began on a sombre note as we learned that Spirit, Will's old Blue Heeler x had been put down. Poor old girl was one of the sweetest little dogs with some very funny habits. We'd known it was coming for a couple of days but it still cast a shadow over our mood.

We arrived at Ancona Airport, and it was very small, not unlike Burnie or Devonport airport. We hadn't really planned for that, and had been planning on changing our pounds ...
