      ... office and called in and got as much information as we could. From their we drove about 5k and saw the perfect spot to spend the night right next to the lake. Our good luck also benefitted that the rain has now stopped and some glimmer of blue sky can be seen.       ... We see the magnificent castle up on the hill overlooking the city but no time for that. We don't do cities.



      As we are continuing on the autobahn south into Austria we have to buy vignettes for the bikes. In Austria it costs €4.90 for 10 days, so that's OK. Later in the trip we will enter Switzerland, but be careful to avoid the toll roads. There a vignette is for one year and costs around 40. That's a lot ...

      The heavens have opened! It is our final night in Austria and we are having a meal with the lovely Christoph! He bought us all Jagermeister - bleugh :)!!
