    ... the war the camp was then used to house 25,000 Germans who awaited war time trials. The barracks got destroyed by fire in 1962 and only the first of 36 buildings that housed over 300 prisoners was rebuilt to show the cramped living conditions.     ... Mariazell famous for it's big catholic cathedral. We stop for a wander and the opportunity to buy another sticker for the panniers.

    Back at Kalte Kuchl the place is heaving with local bikers out to enjoy the late evening sunshine.

    The heavens have opened! It is our final night in Austria and we are having a meal with the lovely Christoph! He bought us all Jagermeister - bleugh :)!!

    Sad to be going home tomorrow but it has been an amazing journey and I loved every minute.
