    ... story to buy some supplies for the ride, and the bunks were very comfortable. I shared by cabin with 3 young Italian girls heading to Lecce, and after a few giggle and calls home to say they were fine , we all settled down to a quiet evening I slept amazingly well actually, knowing the cabin we as locked and with the air con running it was even on the cool side at times.     The terrace is actually 6 stories up from the ground, so we are in the bird flight path. Last year we had a first sighting of a hawk while mom Johnson was visiting.     This morning started with a silent march into the Commonweath War Grave's cemetery in Cassino. The march was followed by a memorial service attended by local dignitaries and Italian students.
