... a wedding, there are the cloisters, therefectory, Chapter house, wine cellars including a wine making museum. The hotel building is in the same style as the monastic buildings, and our room is spacious and pleasant. The staff, however are all women who seem the have undergone a charisma-ectomy. Today we travelled up the coast to Sirolo which is just down from Ancona and it was picturesque all the way. Tiny Italians towns on hilltops with large churches dominating the town. All along the coast is built up and it seems to be a continuous city but with lovely house colours that are set off with the blue of the ocean in the background. Pete and Roz, and Jo and Ray had booked an Air BNB in Split until they were to leave on Monday. This was fortunate as Ray really needed to recover, and rest would be the best thing for him. ... get it wrong it can break their wrist !! The scoring is as per tennis, and it's basically a power play to see which team can keep the ball in play - making use of the 50 ft wall to play against. Best of 12 games.
