... was trying to forget all about the previous night.

I headed out to Buenos Aires' suburbs today, to the business park where BCD's local operation is based. I was met on arrival by Jonathan Dunn, the country manager. Jonathan has only been with BCD since March, but he has decades of experience in the industry. He founded his own travel company (Dunn Travel) in 1982. Jonathan realised that there was a gap in the market, took advantage of it and snagged Coca-Cola as ...

All those info about Rimet cup, Obdulio Jacinto Muiņos Varela, all the pics of Messi here in Argentina, La copa de Todo el mundo advertising by Coke, everything is talking about World Cup here. Kind of amusing.

... he'd snapped his. After the class there was really good tango show, three couples dancing the history of tango and showing the changes through the ages. Some amazing dancing but was quite glad that I wasn't picked for the short bit of audience participation dancing, especially given my apparent inability to follow. ... me to bring dollars into the country and not to use the cash machines here (as I would just be paying double for everything).

I actually exchanged my dollars with a friend from my trip's Grandma. Inflation is so rife that if the Argentinians hold their savings in Pesos, they will be devalued each day, so everyone wants to hold a stable currency like dollars. There are also queues at the Banks each morning as ...
