... as dozens of brightly dressed drummers and percussionists took to the stage. The noise was massive and quite hypnotic with some really interesting drum patterns and we all enjoyed the spectacle for an hour and a half or so. I was really trying to get my head around some of the complex rhythms and was just soaking up the live sound- I've really missed playing in the band with the boys and we haven't really been to any proper gigs since leaving London... The place is absolutely stunning, an old Spanish-style ranch with incredibly beautiful rooms and amazing surrounds. Unfortunately it's been raining fairly heavily so we've been a bit restricted in what we've been able to do. Our flight yesterday morning was delayed due to bad weather so ...

... As his birthday gift, Eli chose two pairs of little silver magnet balls which he found in a variety store where everthing was "made in China." Once he realized that if he placed one pair in each pant pocket, his legs stuck together, he knew these were the magnets for him. Along Santa Fé, for his birthday celebration, Eli sampled Swiss chocolates from a chocolate specialty shop before settling on slices of black forest cake-to-go from a more than 100 year old bakery, ...
