    Last day and Chrissi packs while I run up town to do a few last minute things ...i walk her to the bus to farewell my fello traveller ...she's off to Barcelona ...then Paris ...go girl !! Then... It's just me ...I cruise the streets of Juan Les Pins for one last time before I leave tomorrow ...lunch could be in order ...oh duck breast ...gotta say ...big ducks ...

    ... sausage salad for tonight and a melon for desert! We headed back got showers... We tried the other block this time the water came out hot all for 15 seconds and then went cold, still a con but we didn't mind as the nice cool shower was quite refreshing. Nice dinner, nicer beer no sunburn and the deet has been applied generously. Off to the cote d'azur tomoz not sure where but defo up for some more beach action! Night all ...

    ... there was steam coming from one shower cubicle so it was either us being retards or just dodgy showers, I'm going with the second option but I'm not overly confident. Anyway showerd up and ready for dinner, we took a wander to the site shop to see what was on offer!! CLOSED!! Great news, looks like it was the onsite restaurant instead and yet again Pizza takeaway was the food of choice, quick, cheap and easy!! Lorna got some pasta and salad ready whilst ...

    ... greeted us. A beautiful old town with a beautiful church sitting up on the hillside. Of course we had to go and see so we walked up through the town which was an education. Winding alley ways all over the place and people living and doing the things they do. I love walking through these places but I don't think I could live here. There were little restaurants dotted here and there looking down sheer drops to the water. ...

    ... Menton which looked stunning in the sunshine and a place on our must-see list. Another year. The weather deteriorated as we ventured into Liguria and by the time the motorway junction for Finale Ligure was upon us, the heavens opened and did so as we pulled up at Eurocamping Calvisio where the atmosphere was quiet compared to the manic frenzy of our visit last July when full to the brim with families.
