    ... Nevers crossing the Loire River. Walked Nevers old town and found a lovely restaurant with fixed price plates. Oysters, then herring (for Sonja)' cold chicken & an egg (Alan's)' then lamb & steak respectively. All for 15€ each. Medieval towns we drove through & saw through the day were amazing & amazingly quiet - almost dead. ...
