A night of luxury to end three amazing weeks

After three weeks of three star hotels, and even three nights of camping, we decided we'd give ourselves a night of luxury in Lima. That's what we got. From the moment we checked in to our bags being loaded into our car to the airport, the only thing that could have improved our stay would have been staying another night or two.

We were upgraded on check in to a junior suite. The room was huge but as an earlier reviewer said a bit soulless. Super comfortable bed, beautiful sheets and great pillows. Big bathroom, good quality bathroom products, huge soft towels. Fast wifi.

We had dinner in Miso. Beautiful space, very good service, great cocktails, well prced wine, meals pretty good as well. We went up to the rooftop bar and had a couple more great cocktails. The crowd was young and beautiful (unlike us tired old Aussie guys!).

We had breakfast in Miso the following morning and it was excellent.

Good location down towards Larcomar. Great staff. Comfortable rooms. From our perspective great value as well. If we visit Lima again we'll be staying at Radisson Decapolis Miraflores.

It's a pain in the ass getting to South America from india. But so worth it. Stayed at the Belmont and Marriott in Miraflores. Both average 5 stars. 36 course tasting menu at e legendary Astrid & Gaston. Quality beef, true civeche and churros aplenty. Bubblegum tasting Inka Cola. La Mar for a great Lunch. Guided tours of the square and mansions.

Day 20 (July 15) La Paz – Lima

The dancing people hadn't gone through until 11 the night before, and there hadn't been the overlay of five different bad songs playing over each other. Our flight to Lima wasn’t until the middle of the afternoon and we’d got Marisol to add us to Julia’s transfer so a sleep in would …

... a buffet lunch, the food was very tasty with their marinated fish being the go to dish.
Finally got to our Hotel at about 6pm, to say we were tired would be an understatement as we had been up since 3.30 am.
Hotel was very nice, which is good because we have a further three nights their before we fly back to Brazil.
Reasonable start tomorrow with a 12 noon flight to Cusco to start our tour of the Sacred Valley

Couldn't upload pictures and I have know idea why.
