Hi All, Well, we made it through the ordeal of Buenos Aires. Spent the last couple of days site seeing...recolleta cemetary was awesome! Adam insists he must be buried in a large crypt, possibly with a large bust of himself and several statues of mourning women (see the pictures). So on saturday we got on the plane for Peru! We arrived in Lima at 7pm local time after a very interesting 19 hours. Upon leaving L.A we have never felt so uneasy in a plane as we did right after take off. The plane started making a funny noise, leveling out and not ascending further and we started circling back towards L.A both with a look of fear on our faces I am sure. we arrived into guayaquil at 2pm on the 19th and went instantly to a marathon bus tour. we endured nearly 40 hours on the bus in a row. from guaya to tumbes in peru, arriving late(around 11pm) as usual. then right onto a bus to choco something or other without so much as a potty break. better yet, this bus had no bathroom to go overnight. very good. we got one on the side of the road at one point. arriving at 7 am to choco something, we then used a tuck tuck taxi to go all over the town looki...

That blog title should come as no surprise to those who actually know us. We're addicts. Total addicts. Caryn needs her phone and I need my coffee...with soy milk. Apparently, Lima is not the place to indulge in our vices.

The day didn't start off half bad. After four hours of sleep we shuffled to breakfast, then to meet with a rep from the travel agency to get our bus vouchers for tomorrow's trip, and then finally met up with our tour guide.
