... come here, I've discovered another ruin". Walked on another little way and discovered we had come through the back door bob, and seen only the necropolis...graveyard ...duhhh....and now we were at the proper site, complete with....russkis having beers at the entrance, and slushy machine.....yay!! Was actually a great way to approach it in hindsight, and the site itself was like a mini version of a roman city, as most of the existing ruins dated from Byzantine ...
Am going to have to do a couple of food entries.... The kids are eating the most mind blowing variety of things...Kara even ate a fish eyeball!! Note to self, need to take more care with variety of foods for dinner, make them look more attractive, and set the table properly...Not really rocket science is it!! Starting our walk tomorrow on the Lycian Way down near Antalya on the Mediterranean coast, so might be a while between ...

Today marks the halfway point of our trp. We’ve already done and seen so much! We met Kelly and Ralph in the garden/pool area and explored the grounds a bit. This is a gorgeous hotel, on the waterfront with a marina attached. The boats in this harbour are HUGE – the biggest we’ve seen yet is about 300’, no lie. Inside the city walls there was a theater and you can see from this photo that there were at one time statues on the plinths on this wall.
